A little history
Two thousand one was a transition year for the Benetton/Renault Formula One team. Sold to the French manufacturer the year before, Benetton was living its very last season under this name, before becoming Renault in 2002. Furthermore, Renault was re-entering the stage as an engine manufacturer, and inevitably its RS21 block proved troublesome. The team’s pilots Giancarlo Fisichella and the somewhat disappointing Jenson Button did their best, but weren’t able to record more than ten points by season’s end.

Minichamps' standard level of quality. Much realism has been added by its previous owner thanks to the appropriate "Mild Seven" decals. My rating is 14/20.
